FASTART FORMULA SIX DIESEL FUEL STABILIZER prevents fuel gelling at the pour point during winter by not allowingwax crystals to link together. Diesel fuel must be treated before it reaches its pour point. Year roud use of FORMULA SIX is recommended due to the unstable nature of diesel fuel. If left untreated, it oxydizes, forming gum and varnish, which causes deposits in fuel injectors, filters, tanks and fuel lines. These conditions cause excessive smoke, loss of power and poor mileage.

FORMULA SIX retards oxydation and rust, contains detergents to clean injectors and the entire fuel system. Improves cold weather starting. By separating water from the diesel fuel to the bottom of the tank where it can be safely drained, the entire combustion system is protected and the maximum performance is attained. Any water remianing in the fuel is neutralized by corrosion inhibitors in the formula to protect the engine. FORMULA SIX contains a cetane improver which raises the cetane performance of diesel fuel, resulting in easier starts, better operation and improved mileage. When diesel powered equipment starts easier and gets more complete combustion, maintenance and fuel costs are automatically reduced.

Industrial blending of concentrated FORMULA SIX:
To do its designed job, this product must be added before wax crystals are formed. Storage area should be above -15 degrees C.
Ratio of application of FORMULA SIX to diesel fuel: For bulk storage add 3.785 liters/ 1 gallon for each 3,785 liters/ 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel in storage. Drain or pump water from the bottom of the tank within the week of treatment. This treatment will protect the pour point to -44 degrees C. In extreme cold temperatures, add 3.785 liters/1 gallon of FORMULA SIX per 1900 liters/ 500 gallons of diesel fuel.

Stationary equipment and over the road vehicles should add 1.14 liters/ 1 quart of FORMULA SIX at each fuel refill of tanks of 387.5 liters/100 gallons. Product is packaged in 3.785 liters/1 gallon containers for use in treating rolling stock while away from the home base.
